Classic Red Wine Sangria Recipe
Do you need something new and refreshing to serve at your next summer party? Gato Negro’s Merlot has delicious hints of berries and cherries with a lingering finish of vanilla and coconut, making it the perfect combination for a Summer Sangria!
Typically, I would rather just have a good white wine to sip on during the summer. But, Sangria is such a fun treat! This recipe is a great medium that should satisfy both sweet and dry wine drinkers! I am thrilled to share my personal Classic Red Wine Sangria Recipe with you!
Classic Red Wine Sangria Recipe:
- 1 bottle of Gato Negro Merlot (Or your favorite red wine)
- 2 shots Vodka
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 2 shots Tripe Sec
- 1 cup Pineapple Juice (I actually used pine-cran)
- 1 cup Ginger Ale
- 2 Oranges, sliced
- 1 carton of Strawberries, sliced
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients in a carafe or pitcher, serve over ice and enjoy! It’s super easy and quick! I recommend mixing the liquid ingredients first and then adding the fruit at the end!
Pro Tip: Freeze some strawberries ahead of time and throw a few in your glass to keep it cold without watering it down! Lastly, add an orange slice on the rim on your glass!
