I’ve had the pleasure of working with Acorn Ridge Cabin Rentals twice so far this year. They have private condos in the Dominican Republic and cabins in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. These Cabin Rentals in the Sevierville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge area are each conviently located near whatever you desire to do in each region.

My Personal Experience:

Arrival and check-in was a breeze because all you have to do is show up at the cabin and type in the code to the on the front door! The staff does a great job of sending everything you need beforehand so that when you get to the cabin, you can simply relax. The gps took us straight to the cabin with no problems at all.

Things to note:

Acorn Ridge Cabin Rentals has 28 different Cabin Rentals throughout the Sevierville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge regions of Tennessee. The specific cabin that I stayed in is called Big Bear Lodge, which is one of their largest cabins. However, they have a variety of sizes and locations to choose from that will meet your groups needs.

Things to do:

Downtown Gatlinburg is beautiful, but remember it does get busy and traffic can be a lot in the peak seasons. Pigeon Forge is a huge area with 100s of tourist destinations. In my personal opinion, it’s too populated and commercialized for what I look for in a mountain getaway. However, millions of people love it and visit every year.

And if you’re like we were while we were in town… you might just want to relax and not do much of anything. A few local Sevierville spots that we visited (in order to try different things and avoid crowds) were Tennessee Legends Distillery (free tastings), the Exotic Animal Petting Zoo, Three Johnnys (for an amazing happy hour), and Hillside Winery!

A look Inside Big Bear Lodge:

Big Bear Lodge has five bedrooms, each with a king size bed. The cabin has 3 floors with one bedroom in the basement, two bedrooms on the main floor, and two bedrooms upstairs. There is also a movie theater room in the basement, along with a pool table and a large seating area. The main floor has a nice sized kitchen and living room with a large fire place. And upstairs, there is a large living space with a foosball table, a desk, and a lounging area.

Pricing:

As mentioned, Acorn Ridge Cabin Rentals has 28 different Cabin Rentals throughout the Sevierville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge regions of Tennessee. Therefore, pricing is dependent on which cabin you select. But in my opinion, each cabin is extremely affordable… especially when traveling with groups who plan on splitting costs.

Conclusions:
